At its center is a professorial core at the TUM School of Medicine and Health, complemented by further TUM units, external academic groups and industry and translation partners.

Leadership and governance
Shared scientific and clinical responsibility

Bernhard Meyer, Simon N. Jacob, Lorenzo Masia and Marcello Ienca lead the alliance jointly. The professorial core is responsible for the scientific direction and for the assignment of the research areas. Arthur Wagner coordinates clinical and operational activities, Melissa Zavaglia the cooperation between the partner units within the Alliance.

Decisions on research, clinical translation, the admission of partners, and external communication are taken under academic responsibility and within the applicable legal and institutional requirements.
